Deutz AG, originally founded in Cologne, Germany in 1864 by N. A. Otto & Cie., is today the world's oldest and leading independent engine manufacturer. As an expert in the full range of engines, Deutz offers water-cooled and air-cooled engines ranging from 25KW to 520KW for a wide range of applications in construction machinery, generator sets, agricultural machinery, commercial vehicles, railway locomotives and ships, as well as in a wide range of specialized applications.
Deutz supports its customers in more than 130 countries with 9 distribution companies, 9 sales offices, 16 service centers and more than 800 sales and service partners. We have seven offices in Asia Pacific, including Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Australia and India. The Asia Pacific headquarters was officially opened in Shanghai in October 2021.
Deutz global plant distribution
Deutz has been in China for more than 40 years and is one of the earliest foreign companies in New China. In September 2021, Deutz Asia Pacific headquarters was completed in Shanghai. In terms of localization, we have a production base in Tianjin, and a joint venture factory with Sany Heavy Industry (Kunshan, Changsha), specializing in the production of powertrains.
